Founded in 2001, Printfest is an annual gathering of leading UK printmakers under one beautiful roof. This is a full weekend bringing together around 40 artists from all over the country in Ulverston, Lake District. The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) Print Prize celebrates and supports printmakers working in the full gamut of original print techniques. With a significant number of print works held in the RBSA Permanent Collection, printmaking forms an important part of the RBSA’s history.

Last held in 2024, the RBSA Print Prize celebrates the diversity of printmaking whilst also introducing the public to the myriad of different printing techniques used today, including screenprinting, linocut, monoprint, etching, woodcut, lithography, and dry point.

I’m delighted to be showing work at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, the leading international art fair for original contemporary print.

It’s a privilege to have been selected from over 6000 artists in their international open call. 50% of the fair is a Curated Hang exhibition of artists’ original work; the other 50% of the expansive fair is dedicated to leading galleries specialising in print.

The quality, ambition and technical virtuosity of the art and event itself is extraordinary. A programme of insightful talks, demonstrations and exhibition tours can be booked.

As a dedicated member and key holder of the wonderful Leicester Print Workshop, I’m pleased to be part of their upcoming Print Fair over the 8-9 November weekend, 10am - 4pm each day. Come and see a diverse range of printmaking, with demonstrations and opportunities to meet the artists.

Print Fair Contemporary showcases printmakers, illustrators, artists, designers, zine makers and textile designers working across the wide variety of print specialisms including screen print, lino print, risograph, etching, photography, digital print and other print techniques or original art pieces.

It’s free to enter, and a beautiful space to see a wide range of contemporary print.

The beautiful, creative town of Wirksworth becomes an expansive gallery, with around 140 artists exhibiting over the Arts Trail weekend. Come and discover a wealth of exquisite work showing in around 70 venues: period homes, grit stone cottages, studios, chapels, churches, halls, shops, you name it. This RWA biennial show celebrates paper as a surface for drawing and printmaking and as a sculptural material. Paper is the star of the show revealing itself in many different guises. Hand made paper, different types of Japanese tissue, papier maché, and paper pulp are just some of the materials being used to create drawings paintings sculpture and architectural models. It is manipulated, burnt, cast, folded, walked on and torn. It is used for collage and all types of printmaking from lino to collograph, lithography, etching and woodcut.
